American Actress Shelley Duvall Dies at 75

Duvall, who is known for her collaborations with Robert Altman and playing eccentric, died July 11 2024 at age 75.

Shelley Alexis Duvall was born July 7, 1949, in Fort Worth, Texas, to real estate broker Bobbie Ruth Massengale and Robert Richardson. In 1980, Duvall took on the role of the bumbling and innocent Wendy Torrance in Stanley Kubrick's The Shining, starring Jack Nicholson.

Duvall is survived by her brother Scott and three sisters, Shane, Pam and Suellen. No information was immediately available about the cause of death.
